This book details all, well most, of the trials and tribulations I have endured, as a result of the Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) I received in a bicycle (me) vs pick-up truck (them) collision. It covers the time from when the accident occurred until I was able to live on my own. A large portion of the book covers events in the hospital. However, I also cover events after I was released from the hospital, a whopping three and a half months after my accident. Anybody who has eaten hospital food for three and a half months and survived should read this book.
I have been told by other TBI sufferers that my book is excellent, mainly because I don't "sugar coat" anything and I "tell it like it is." There are some four-letter words and the ending is a bit depressing, or so I've been told. I've also been told that the book is quite funny in spots. I guess you'll just have to read it and decide for yourself.
I think this book would be great for any military personnel, or their families, who has received any sort of brain injury.
