Internally Love Shines description:
|
|
|
When do most writers write poetry? When their is angst and confusion in their lives. When writing down your thoughts is the only release that one has to deal with the pressures of young adulthood, when one is pondering what to do.
Most of the poems were written between the year of 1989 and 1991, when I was still discovering life and which path to take. But once the confusion and pain is gone, there is nothing more to write about.

| Philip Hardy from Lulu: | | "Abuse of the Flesh" is such a beautiful poem about such a terrible subject. My wife works as a lawyer handling child abuse cases for the county of Los Angeles; and it takes a toll on everyone involved, including those who protect the rights of children and battered wives. "To Be" is a bittersweet poem of unrequited love. As a man of song myself, I wonder who was the lucky guy that inspired it? |
| Karen Koski from Lulu.com: | | Linda's poetry resonates well with the familiar emotions we may have all experienced at some point in our lives. The poetry I read has wonderful clarity and is very down to earth, making it overall a very enjoyable read. |
| Sin Diviro Pickett from Lulu.com: | Congratulations to this author.
She writes hard-hitting poems. Not only does she make you acknowledge what she means, but you also feel it. You feel the pain of a physically abused child to the point that you want to just pick the child up, hug them, and tell them that it's all over -- there will be no more pain. Then you realize that you're only the reader. Now that's good writing!
Her love poem really touches the heart. Especially, when expressing that the times she feels the most love for her partner, is when he's angry with her. Now that's deep! Because sometimes as much as we love our partner, we often don't feel a thing when they're really angry with us, until it subsides, and we make up.

| Anne Rogers from Lulu.com: | Ms Fox writes straight from the heart. She doesn't beat about the bush she says it like it is, this is life warts and all. Her poems are lusty, sad, angry, happy.... well I could go on but you get the picture. If you want a slice of real life then this book of poetry is for you.
Regards Anne Rogers |
