Jack Kammer's Bio:
Jack Kammer, MSW, MBA is the director of the Center for Men and Boys in Social Policy, a public interest consultancy in Baltimore, Maryland USA.
In 1983 Jack started hosting a public radio show called "In a Man's Shoes." It didn't take long before he realized that male gender issues had real social significance.
He was the author in 1994 of a book called "Good Will Toward Men: Women Talk Candidly About the Balance of Power Between the Sexes" (St. Martin's Press). He has worked as a freelance newspaper and magazine writer specializing in gender issues and gender politics in the lives of men and boys.
He has also worked as a stand-up comic, using comedy to bring his favorite subject to public attention in an entertaining way.
He now works as a community organizer highlighting the social issues of men and boys and the social problems that arise when those issues are ignored or poorly handled, especially in marginalized urban communities.
Jack wants the world to be full of happy, healthy, fairly treated boys and men because happy, healthy, fairly treated boys and men are good for everyone.
